California Registered Dietitian
Job Summary
To support a diverse patient population, the on-call California Registered Dietitian will provide nutrition consultations, assessments, and education in a primary care clinic setting, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes for individuals facing homelessness, addiction, and chronic diseases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop evidence-based nutrition interventions for at-risk patients
- Provide nutrition education and resources to patients, families, and staff regarding healthy eating and nutrition access programs
- Collaborate with medical, dental, and behavioral health teams to address and coordinate patients' nutritional needs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
- Experience teaching adults and facilitating workshops
- Knowledge of nutrition programs and evidence-based nutrition therapy
- 1-2 years of clinical experience is desired
