California Senior Counsel
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced California Senior Counsel, the full-time position will independently manage litigation cases, develop case strategies, and provide mentorship while working collaboratively within a growing team in the Inland Empire.
Key responsibilities
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Develop compelling case themes and maintain routine communications with clients
- Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced attorneys while cultivating client relationships
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved school and active California Bar license
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
- Experience managing full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial preparation
- First- or second-chair trial experience is highly valued
- Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
