California Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary

Managing CHLA's purchased supplies and services contracts, the full-time Strategic Sourcing & Contract Specialist will facilitate competitive sourcing activities, negotiate favorable terms, and optimize contract performance while working remotely from California.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct competitive sourcing activities, including RFPs and supplier evaluations, to secure optimal agreements
• Negotiate contract terms, manage workflows in the Contract Lifecycle Management system, and ensure compliance with regulations
• Monitor contract performance to identify cost savings opportunities and support renewal decisions aligned with strategic objectives

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or operations
• Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes
• Broad understanding of contracts and purchase order terms and conditions
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
