California Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary

Managing CHLA's purchased supplies and services contracts, the full-time Strategic Sourcing and Contract Specialist will facilitate competitive sourcing activities, negotiate favorable terms, and optimize contract performance in a 100% remote position requiring California residency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct competitive sourcing activities including RFPs, supplier evaluations, and market analysis
• Negotiate contract terms, manage workflows within the Contract Lifecycle Management system, and ensure compliance with organizational requirements
• Monitor contract performance to identify cost savings opportunities and support renewal decisions

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of supply chain management, procurement, or operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes
• Broad understanding of contracts and purchase order terms and conditions
• Strong customer service skills
