California Support Broker

Job Summary

To support individuals living with disabilities and seniors in California, the full-time California Support Broker will provide guidance on community services, assist with budgeting and direct care worker management, and maintain participant health and safety through regular contact, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a workload of up to 125 program participants, ensuring regular communication and issue resolution
• Provide practical skills training to participants in areas such as budgeting, hiring, and community resource navigation
• Assist participants with enrollment in programs, completion of paperwork, and monitoring of health and safety standards

Required qualifications:

• BA or BS degree in a related field or 4+ years of relevant experience
• Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities or senior citizens
• Knowledge of Medicaid services preferred
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
