Job Summary
Providing frontline technical support for end-user issues, the full-time hourly California Systems Technician will manage client inquiries through phone, email, and the client portal while troubleshooting and resolving technical problems related to personal computers, Microsoft 365, and connectivity.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve support tickets efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and escalation of complex issues
- Deliver exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with clients about ticket status and troubleshooting steps
- Provide technical support for end-user devices and Microsoft 365 applications, collaborating with team members to enhance service delivery
Required qualifications:
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in technical support or related IT support roles
- Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Professional Certificate, or Microsoft Fundamentals preferred
- Experience supporting Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
