Seeking a California Trial Attorney, this full-time remote position will manage all phases of litigation for General Liability matters, partnering with claims professionals to develop case strategies, conduct discovery, negotiate settlements, and advocate for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all phases of litigation from initial evaluation through resolution
- Develop case strategies in collaboration with claims professionals
- Mentor colleagues and serve as a technical resource for complex matters (for senior-level attorneys)
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor and membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- For Staff Legal Attorney: 1+ years of litigation experience; for Trial Attorney: 5+ years of litigation experience
- Experience with Lexis, Westlaw, or similar legal research platforms
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance defense litigation
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe (for Trial Attorney candidates)
