California Utility Program Manager
Job Summary
Leading programs for a major electric and gas utility in Northern California, the full-time California Utility Program Manager will own client relationships, manage program delivery, and drive account growth while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own the client relationship by engaging with division managers and decision-makers to understand their needs and drive program success
- Run day-to-day program operations, handling performance, escalations, and issue resolution without waiting for permission
- Grow the account by identifying new opportunities and leveraging an established network within the utility sector
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of utility experience, preferably with electric and/or gas operations
- Deep understanding of large investor-owned utility operations, with direct experience in California utilities being a significant plus
- Proficient in managing utility programs and client relationships, with fluency in RFPs, MSAs, SOWs, and POs
- Established network of utility relationships that can be actively leveraged
- Strong knowledge of utility compliance requirements and Codes of Conduct
