Job Summary

Analyzing complex workers' compensation claims, the full-time Senior California Workers Compensation Claims Examiner - SIP Certified will manage litigated claims, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with California regulations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzes and processes complex workers' compensation claims, developing action plans for timely resolution
• Negotiates settlements and manages the litigation process to ensure cost-effective claims resolution
• Calculates and assigns reserves, prepares state filings, and communicates claim activity with clients and claimants

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• SIP Certification is mandatory
• 3+ years of California workers' compensation claims experience
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and regulations
