California Workers Compensation Examiner

Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned California Workers Compensation Examiner, the full-time role will analyze and adjudicate complex workers compensation claims both on-site and remotely, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with clients and claimants.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyzing and processing claims through detailed action plans to achieve appropriate resolutions
• Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority limits
• Communicating claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications:

• 3 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 or more years of California workers compensation jurisdictional knowledge required
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• SIP required or must be obtained within one year of employment
