California Workers Compensation Examiner

Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned California Workers Compensation Examiner, the full-time hybrid role will analyze and adjudicate complex workers compensation claims while ensuring timely resolution and maintaining strong client partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze and process claims to determine benefits due, utilizing well-developed action plans
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority and communicate effectively with claimants and clients
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests in a professional and timely manner

Required qualifications:

• 3 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 or more years of California workers compensation jurisdictional knowledge required
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
• SIP required or must be obtained within one (1) year of employment
