California Workers Compensation Examiner

Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned California Workers Compensation Examiner, the full-time position will analyze and adjudicate complex workers compensation claims, ensuring timely resolutions while working in a hybrid environment based in West Hills, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to determine benefits due through thorough investigation and information gathering
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority and communicate claim activity with claimants and clients
• Report claims to excess carriers and respond to requests in a professional and timely manner

Required qualifications

• 3 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 or more years of California workers compensation jurisdictional knowledge required
• SIP certification required or must be obtained within one year of employment
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
