California Workers Compensation Trainee

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time California Workers Compensation Trainee will engage in a 6-month paid remote program focused on claims management, client service excellence, and hands-on training under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in structured learning through instructor-led sessions, online modules, and job shadowing to build foundational knowledge in insurance and claims operations
• Gradually take ownership of indemnity claims, applying training to real-world scenarios while managing a portfolio under supervision
• Engage in professional communication with clients and stakeholders, ensuring claims are handled empathetically and in compliance with guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4-year degree from an accredited institution preferred
• 3.5 GPA or higher preferred; candidates with proven experience will also be considered
• Strong familiarity with M365 products, including Outlook, Word, and basic Excel and PowerPoint
• Active listening skills and a problem-solving mindset
• Ability to adapt to changes in procedures and technology
