Job Summary
To support a busy dermatology practice, the full-time Call Center Scheduler will manage appointment scheduling, answer incoming calls, and triage inquiries, all while working primarily remotely from MA, NH, RI, NY, or CT.
Key responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, providing a friendly and professional experience for patients
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate documentation and verification of patient information
- Manage patient rescheduling, reminders, and follow-up calls, including handling voicemail inquiries efficiently
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a physician practice or customer service-related role
- Exceptional communication skills with a strong focus on patient care
- Ability to empathize with patients, including geriatric and disabled individuals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
