Call Center Underwriter

Job Summary

Providing high-quality service to insureds and agents, the full-time remote Call Center Underwriter will manage incoming calls and various servicing functions for small to mid-sized commercial accounts, including renewals, billing inquiries, and policy updates.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and service tasks related to policy documents, billing inquiries, renewals, and cancellations
• Communicate with insureds, agents, and underwriters to confirm policy renewals and provide updates on service requests
• Process insured-requested cancellations and assist with the reporting process for claims

Required qualifications

• Basic customer service experience, preferably in a call center or high-volume environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with agency management systems
• Ability to operate standard office equipment such as scanners and copiers
• No specific licensing required
• Availability for rotating shifts, including evenings until 8:00 PM ET
