Campaign Director Asia-Pacific

Job Summary

Leading the development of impactful campaigns in the Asia-Pacific region, the full-time remote Campaign Director will define regional priorities, build partnerships, and manage a team to drive ocean protection initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define Asia-Pacific priorities and develop campaigns that combine political engagement and public mobilization
• Identify and build partnerships with civil society organizations, scientists, and community leaders to strengthen regional efforts
• Manage a regional team, overseeing plans, budgets, and resources while coordinating with global teams

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in campaigning, advocacy, or policy with a proven track record of measurable change
• Deep knowledge of the political landscape in the Asia-Pacific and experience working in multiple countries in the region
• Strong networks across civil society, government, and the ocean or environmental sector
• Experience in managing teams and budgets, with a focus on building trust within partnerships
• Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in one or more regional languages is a plus
