Cancer Research Director

Job Summary

To establish a new standard of excellence in precision medicine, the full-time remote Cancer Research Director will lead research efforts on complex cancer cases, analyze medical records, evaluate treatment options, and communicate findings to clients alongside clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze patient medical records and clinical histories to extract relevant data for treatment evaluation
• Research and prioritize treatment options, including clinical trials and innovative therapies, based on medical literature and expert input
• Create patient education materials that summarize clinical history, diagnosis, and treatment options in an accessible manner

Required qualifications

• A PhD in a science or healthcare field, with early- to mid-career experience in oncology
• Strong research capabilities and familiarity with medical literature databases
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively advise clients
• Ability to make rapid decisions and adapt in a dynamic environment
• Experience collaborating with peers and external experts to achieve optimal client outcomes
