Cantonese Licensed Interpreter

Job Summary

To facilitate effective communication, the contracted Cantonese Licensed Interpreter will provide consecutive interpretation services during over-the-phone interactions, ensuring clarity and understanding while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, and interviews
• Listen carefully to the source language and convey messages accurately in the target language
• Maintain professionalism and comply with HIPAA and industry best practices

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience or 3000 hours of active interpretation
• Proficiency in at least two languages (source and target languages)
• Proof of English language proficiency with a "technical proficiency" rating
• Successful completion of a Mock Call assessment
• Technical infrastructure to support interpretation assignments (headset, stable internet, laptop)
