Capital Planning Lead

Job Summary

Serving as the primary front-end financial and capital allocation authority, the full-time remote Capital Planning Lead will manage the continuous capital planning lifecycle, partnering with project executives to align capital strategy with project execution across various portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitating the continuous capital planning intake lifecycle and managing project lists
• Partnering with Directors and Project Executives to establish annual capital allocation baselines and review multi-year capital plans
• Leading structured project intake reviews to generate reliable cost models prior to architect engagement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or Real Estate Economics
• 8 to 12+ years of experience in corporate real estate capital planning or portfolio finance
• Proven expertise in capital budget administration across large-scale real estate portfolios with significant spend
• Deep familiarity with project intake workflows and financial risk governance
• Experience managing SOX-aligned accrual processes within a corporate real estate context
