Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Caption Translator will translate captions and subtitles from English to Maithili, engage in Machine Translation Post Editing, and maintain translation databases while collaborating with project teams.
Key responsibilities
- Translate content for captions, documents, web pages, and software
- Fix cultural translation issues and perform Machine Translation Post Editing
- Provide quality assurance for the translation process and implement feedback
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications or linguistics
- Minimum four years of experience in the translation field
- Proficiency in Translation Management System tools and software
- Fluency in at least two target languages
- Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus
