Capture Manager (Government)

Job Summary

To support growth in the government sector, the full-time remote Capture Manager (Government) will identify and qualify government opportunities worth pursuing, manage the pursuit pipeline, and provide ranked shortlists to sales teams while maintaining a disciplined approach to bid selection.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a pursuit pipeline by tracking contract expirations and pre-solicitation notices across all states and Canadian provinces
• Evaluate opportunities based on fit, competition, and incumbency, providing clear bid/no-bid recommendations
• Map relationships to identify key stakeholders and leverage existing incumbencies to enhance bid positioning

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in government capture, bid management, or pipeline/proposal operations (SLED or federal)
• Proficiency with bid-intelligence sources such as GovSpend and BidNet
• Strong judgment skills to assess and prioritize bidding opportunities effectively
• Organizational skills to maintain a clean and current pipeline
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and senior executives
