Care Access Representative

Job Summary

Serving as the first point of contact for patients and staff, the full-time Care Access Representative will manage patient registration, schedule outpatient appointments, and coordinate communication in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures excellent customer service by maintaining a positive and professional demeanor while meeting call quality and scheduling standards
• Verifies and updates patient information, including insurance and demographics, to ensure accuracy for billing and safety
• Schedules patient appointments and attempts to reschedule cancellations, while actively participating in departmental quality assurance efforts

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher-level degree may substitute
• One year of customer service and/or clerical experience
