Job Summary

As a remote Care Advocate I, the successful candidate will manage patient relationships and navigation through complex healthcare journeys, ensuring they receive essential support and guidance related to cancer care, while working in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact and advocate for patients, guiding them through cancer screening, treatment, and survivorship
• Coordinate patient care by managing referrals, scheduling appointments, and collaborating with clinical teams to ensure timely follow-up
• Assist patients in navigating insurance eligibility and benefits, including prior authorizations and financial assistance

Required qualifications

• Experience in a patient-facing healthcare role, with knowledge of referrals, provider networks, and medical terminology
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and trust-building with patients
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple patients and competing priorities effectively
