Care Engagement Specialist
Job Summary
To support the organization's goals, the full-time Care Engagement Specialist will manage member outreach, schedule preventive service appointments, and educate members on health plan benefits while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls to schedule doctor appointments and assist members with Health Needs Screenings
- Educate members on available benefits and recommend preferred providers to enhance service utilization
- Identify and overcome barriers to care, ensuring members complete necessary health screenings and access services
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of sales experience in a call center or high-pressure sales environment, or a Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business administration with 1+ year of relevant experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Experience in member, provider, customer service, or call center roles
