Job Summary
Answering and directing incoming calls to Care Management Operations, the part-time Care Navigation Coordinator will provide essential problem-solving support for patients and manage operational tasks, working remotely during designated hours.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule tele consults and appointments with Medical Managers and the Behavioral Care Team
- Prepare and fax documentation for regulated patients while resupplying eligible patients
- Complete assigned tasks and projects promptly, ensuring effective communication with customers and team members
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in a health-related field
- Customer service experience in a high-volume healthcare environment
- Call center experience is a plus
- Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to understand medical practice terminology and standard operating procedures, including HIPAA policies
