Job Summary

Committed to supporting learners in their career journeys, the full-time remote Career Coach will provide personalized coaching and professional skill development for participants in various career tracks, while also managing a high-volume caseload focused on job readiness and placement outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a positive environment and build empathetic relationships with learners, offering regular coaching and support
• Deliver personalized career coaching, facilitating job sourcing and promoting entry-level opportunities in learners' chosen fields
• Monitor learner progress, providing feedback and motivation while adapting coaching approaches to meet individual needs

Required qualifications

• Strong knowledge of resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, and job search strategies
• Previous experience in career coaching, education, counseling, or similar mission-driven work
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills with a focus on serving diverse backgrounds
• Able to manage multiple demands and work autonomously in a changing environment
• Commitment to the mission of creating pathways to family-sustaining careers for low-wage workers
