Career Navigator in New Mexico

Job Summary

Managing a caseload of SNAP E&T participants, the full-time Career Navigator in New Mexico will provide case management, conduct workshops, and coordinate with business services to support job seekers in achieving self-sufficiency, working remotely with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate participant information in electronic databases
• Provide case management and job coaching to help participants prepare for and retain employment
• Schedule and conduct job readiness workshops and webinars for SNAP E&T participants

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience, or a High School Diploma with three years of related experience
• Strong facilitation, public speaking, and guided learning skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Current valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance
• Bilingual skills are a plus
