Job Summary
Focusing on the development of high-quality Career Technical Education (CTE) courses, the full-time contractor Career Technical Education Instructional Designer will design, implement, and evaluate engaging curriculum aligned with national standards and workforce needs in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop CTE course syllabi, assessments, and instructional materials aligned to state and federal standards
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to ensure technical accuracy and instructional quality
- Collect and analyze feedback to continuously improve course content based on student performance and industry trends
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Experience in instructional design or curriculum development, preferably in CTE or career pathways
- Familiarity with Ohio CTE standards and industry credential integration strongly preferred
- Proficiency with LMS platforms and digital content tools
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple builds over a 2-3 year roadmap
