Cash Application Associate
Job Summary
To support accurate and timely processing of customer payments, the full-time Cash Application Operations Associate will apply payments, research discrepancies, and assist with account reconciliations while working remotely during standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply incoming customer payments accurately and on time
- Research payment discrepancies and assist with short payments, overpayments, and deductions
- Maintain payment documentation and help reconcile customer accounts
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, or a similar finance operations role
- Strong understanding of cash application, payment reconciliation, and account adjustments
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze AR and payment data
- Experience with process improvement or high-volume cash application environments is preferred
