Cash Application Specialist
Job Summary
Responsible for applying cash to open receivables, the full-time Cash Application Specialist will ensure 100% accuracy in cash processing, handle payment discrepancies, and reconcile accounts receivable while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process payments using third-party payment software and reconcile accounts to bank deposits
- Research and resolve payments without posting instructions and contact customers regarding discrepancies
- Monitor and respond to accounts receivable inquiries and process refunds as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Associate Degree in Accounting or a related field required
- Minimum one year of experience in Accounts Receivable cash application preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required
