Cash Application Specialist
Job Summary
Researching, identifying, and allocating payments, the remote Cash Application Specialist will ensure accurate posting and distribution of cash while adhering to internal controls and compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Post payments and denials from the lock box into the system and balance daily cash receipts
- Complete daily cash reconciliation and enter all data into the KIS system
- Run necessary accounts receivable reports for month-end reporting and identify any billing or collection issues
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with cash application processes or similar financial tasks
- Ability to recognize and report billing or collection issues promptly
- Previous experience in Infusion Reimbursement or Intake/Admissions is preferred
