To support healthcare financial operations, the full-time Cash Applications Specialist will accurately post patient and insurance payments, analyze reports for discrepancies, and collaborate with the team while working in a hybrid environment after an initial training period.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately post patient and insurance payments in a fast-paced environment
- Analyze reports to ensure accurate posting and reconcile discrepancies
- Utilize Excel to build and manage billing spreadsheets while meeting monthly posting goals
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of consistent experience in payment posting within the healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of health insurance processes
- Experience with Electronic Response Admittances (ERAs) and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Sharp analytical skills to identify trends and resolve account discrepancies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn new systems
