Cash Posting Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and organized, the full-time Cash Posting Specialist will accurately post, allocate, and reconcile payments from various sources, ensuring client accounts are balanced and up to date in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process, and reconcile payments from multiple sources, including electronic funds transfers, checks, and credit card transactions
• Accurately post payments and adjustments to patient accounts in accordance with payer rules and internal procedures
• Research and resolve posting variances and discrepancies to support accurate account maintenance

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in cash posting, payment processing, or revenue cycle roles is preferred
• Strong multitasking ability with experience managing high-volume, deadline-driven work
• High computer literacy and comfort navigating multiple systems
• Solid mathematical skills with the ability to identify and resolve numerical discrepancies
