Cash Posting Specialist
Job Summary
To enhance cash collection and reconciliation efforts for Home Health & Hospice agencies, the full-time Cash Posting Specialist will manage collection procedures, provide training for cash posters, and collaborate with various stakeholders while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Creates accountability for collection efforts and procedures with Executive Directors and Revenue Cycle Portfolio Leaders
- Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge of payor contracts and government billing regulations
- Researches and clears unidentified cash accounts monthly while preparing cash reports and reconciling daily
Required qualifications
- At least five years of experience in cash posting
- A minimum of three years in healthcare billing and collections management, preferably in home health or hospice operations
- Experience with eClinical Works, HCHB, and Excel
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Demonstrated capability to manage detailed information accurately
