Cash Posting Specialist
Job Summary
To support the financial operations of the organization, the full-time Cash Posting Specialist will manage daily posting of payment transactions, investigate unidentified payments, and ensure compliance with policies while working remotely under the manager's discretion.
Key responsibilities
- Post all payment transactions daily, including batch preparation and quality review of postings
- Investigate and resolve unidentified payments, ensuring accurate application to patient accounts
- Communicate effectively with payors and other parties regarding posting issues and concerns
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience posting insurance payments from EOBs or remittance advice
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams
- Experience with payment posting and Epic is preferred
- Strong alpha and numeric aptitude skills required
