Cash Posting Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and organized, the full-time Cash Posting Specialist will accurately post, allocate, and reconcile payments from various sources in a remote environment, ensuring client accounts are balanced and up to date.

Key responsibilities:

• Receive, process, and reconcile payments from multiple sources, including electronic funds transfers, paper checks, and credit card transactions
• Accurately post payments and adjustments to patient accounts in accordance with payer rules and internal procedures
• Perform daily balancing of assigned client accounts to ensure alignment with financial documents and internal records

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in cash posting, payment processing, or revenue cycle roles is preferred
• Strong multitasking ability to manage high volume, deadline-driven work
• High computer literacy, including experience with multiple systems and dual monitors
• Solid mathematical skills with the ability to identify and resolve numerical discrepancies
