Cash Posting Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure accurate application and reconciliation of manual and electronic payments, the full-time Cash Posting Specialist will manage payment postings, locate remittances, and perform daily cash reconciliation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Post manual and electronic payments, adjustments, and denials for patients and insurance
• Conduct daily cash reconciliation and reporting, including bank deposits and unapplied accounts research
• Review patient account balances for posting accuracy and assist with training and cross-training as needed

Required qualifications:

• 3-5 years of direct cash handling experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with MS Excel applications
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable high-speed internet connection
• Strong organizational and time management skills
