Job Summary
To support the growth of Vantage's Casualty business, the full-time Casualty Pricing Actuary (ACAS) will engage with underwriting teams to develop and maintain pricing models, analyze portfolio performance, and leverage data analytics, with options for remote or in-office work.
Key responsibilities:
- Engage with underwriting teams to identify opportunities for profitable growth and address underwriting concerns
- Build and maintain rating and pricing models to ensure consistency across Casualty business units
- Collaborate with the broader Insurance pricing team to support pricing and portfolio monitoring activities
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, statistics, economics, or a related field
- 8+ years of actuarial pricing experience, with recent experience in long tail commercial lines pricing
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation required
- Experience with primary or excess casualty pricing, particularly in commercial auto, general liability, and construction risks
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as SQL and R or Python
