Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Catastrophe Modeler & Analytics Specialist, the full-time remote position will model property risks, monitor portfolio exposure to catastrophe events, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate risk effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Model individual E&S property submissions using Moody's RMS to provide timely loss metrics to underwriters
- Run portfolio through catastrophe models to track aggregate accumulations and average annual losses
- Develop and oversee automated workflows for CAT modeling, enhancing exposure data quality and building portfolio analytics dashboards
Required qualifications
- At least five years of experience analyzing P&C insurance data in support of actuarial, analytics, or finance functions
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI for data modeling and reporting
- Hands-on experience with RMS and/or AIR Touchstone
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
- Ability to integrate AI tools into workflows to enhance efficiencies
