Category Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Category Analyst will manage report production, data preparation, and analytics to support category growth and insights for First Quality Consumer Products.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the creation and maintenance of recurring reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Conduct analysis to uncover shopper trends and behaviors that drive category performance
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to provide data support for strategic initiatives
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
- 1-3 years of professional experience in analytics, category management, retail, CPG, or market research
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and core formulas
- Experience working with large data sets and ensuring data accuracy
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
