Category Management Specialist
Job Summary
To support key corporate and operational categories, the full-time remote Category Management Specialist III will develop category strategies, implement sourcing strategies, conduct negotiations, and collaborate with stakeholders at both national and regional levels.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category/spend strategies by leveraging market knowledge and stakeholder needs
- Participate in the RFP process and supplier negotiations to deliver strategic value
- Analyze category spend to understand price drivers and trends, applying insights for data-driven decisions
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal clients and suppliers
- Experience in negotiating contracts and facilitating the RFP process
- Understanding of analytics and data-driven decision-making in procurement
