Category Management Specialist
Job Summary
To support key corporate and operational categories, the full-time remote Category Management Specialist III will develop category strategies, implement sourcing strategies, conduct negotiations, and collaborate with stakeholders at both national and regional levels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute category/spend strategies by analyzing market and supplier data to meet business needs
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal clients and suppliers to drive value and innovation
- Participate in the RFP process and supplier negotiations, ensuring strategic value through effective contracting practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field
- Minimum two years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing
- Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making
- Experience in developing and executing RFPs
- Ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
