Category Management Specialist
Job Summary
To support key corporate and operational categories, the full-time remote Category Management Specialist III will develop category strategies, implement sourcing strategies, conduct negotiations, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category/spend strategies by analyzing market trends and stakeholder needs
- Manage the RFP process and supplier negotiations to deliver strategic value and ensure contract compliance
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal clients and suppliers to drive innovation and service quality
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing
- Proven ability to leverage analytics for data-driven decision-making
- Experience in developing and executing RFPs
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and supply chain principles
