Category Management Specialist III

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Category Management Specialist III, the individual will develop and implement category strategies for Facilities and Corporate Services, manage sourcing processes, conduct negotiations, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute category/spend strategies by leveraging market knowledge and stakeholder needs
• Participate in the RFP process and supplier negotiations to deliver strategic value
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal clients and suppliers to drive quality and performance improvements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing
• Proven ability to analyze category spend and apply cost and supply market analytics
• Experience in developing and executing RFPs and facilitating contract negotiations
• Strong understanding of healthcare reform and macroeconomic influences on sourcing strategies
