Category Management Specialist III

Job Summary

To support key corporate and operational categories, the full-time remote Category Management Specialist III will develop category strategies, implement sourcing strategies, conduct negotiations, and collaborate with stakeholders at both national and regional levels.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain category/spend strategies for assigned categories by leveraging market knowledge and stakeholder needs
• Participate in the RFP process and supplier negotiations to deliver strategic value and facilitate contracting
• Leverage analytics to support data-driven decisions and apply a digital mindset to adopt new technologies in the sourcing process

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing
• Ability to analyze category spend and understand price drivers and trends
• Experience in developing and executing RFPs
• Strong collaboration skills to build relationships with internal clients and suppliers
