Job Summary
To support a growing organization, the full-time Contract Category Manager will manage a portfolio of technical materials and services, develop sourcing strategies, and cultivate supplier relationships while working remotely for a duration of six months.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and optimize a portfolio of strategically important materials and service categories
- Develop and execute long-term category and sourcing strategies to enhance value and reduce costs
- Collaborate with senior leadership and engineering teams to anticipate business needs and market opportunities
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Category Management
- Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills with a track record of delivering measurable business results
- Experience working with technical products, services, or engineering-driven environments is highly preferred
