Category Manager - Procurement

Job Summary

To support a dynamic supply chain environment, the remote Category Manager - Procurement will influence senior leadership, negotiate major contracts, and manage supplier relationships over a 4-month contract period.

Key responsibilities

• Influence line of business leaders to achieve commitment to sourcing strategies
• Develop, source, and negotiate major contracts with various stakeholders
• Lead supplier relationship management and project management initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management
• 6 years of procurement experience preferred
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of cost savings
• Preferred certifications include Lean Six Sigma, ISM, or CPSM
