Job Summary
Providing advanced network support, the fully remote Core Network Engineer III with CCNP Service Provider certification will troubleshoot complex issues, implement network infrastructure, and lead technical projects while participating in an on-call rotation.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide advanced network and systems support, troubleshooting complex issues from diagnosis to resolution
- Implement and support network infrastructure, maintaining accurate ticket documentation and client communication
- Lead assigned technical projects and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure ongoing network operations
Required qualifications:
- Active Cisco CCNP Service Provider certification with 5+ years of service provider networking experience
- Hands-on experience with Cisco NCS, Nexus, ASR 1K, and ASR 9K equipment, as well as Nokia and Juniper platforms
- Strong knowledge of VRF, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS; familiarity with SD-WAN and cloud networking
- Experience with network security and IT service management tools; ServiceNow experience preferred
