Ceded Reinsurance AVP

Job Summary

Managing ceded reinsurance programs, the full-time AVP, Ceded Reinsurance will coordinate activities with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide accurate reporting while fostering relationships with brokers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management of ceded reinsurance programs through effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of ceded reinsurance arrangements, including policy terms and claims processes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide timely reports on ceded reinsurance activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred
• 5 to 10 years of experience in ceded reinsurance operations, preferably within property and casualty insurance
• Strong knowledge of reinsurance concepts, including treaty and facultative reinsurance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Professional designation such as CPCU, ARM, or ARe preferred, but not required
