Job Summary

Supporting the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC) in a full-time remote capacity, the Certification Program Specialist II will manage certification and recertification support, assist candidates and certification holders, and oversee digital communications while ensuring the accuracy of program materials.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day certification and recertification support, addressing escalated issues and maintaining candidate databases
  • Coordinate and execute digital communications, including email campaigns, newsletters, and social media content, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination
  • Maintain and update policy documentation and public-facing materials, conducting regular audits for accuracy and compliance with current policies
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in communications, certification, or customer service-oriented administrative roles required
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce engaging public-facing documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and experience with email marketing platforms and website content management systems required
  • Experience in a membership association or non-profit environment preferred
